RIIZE’s Shotaro is gaining attention after personally making friendship rings for all of his fellow members.
Shotaro recently appeared on the YouTube content series My Little Day, where he visited a jewelry workshop and took on the challenge of creating custom friendship rings for the members of RIIZE.
Explaining his motivation, Shotaro shared:
“We don’t really have a matching item as a team, so I thought it would be nice if we had something together.”
Wanting to surprise the members during their busy comeback preparations, he carefully handcrafted six rings by hand.
Special Designs Customized for Each Member
Although the rings were designed as a matching set, Shotaro personalized each one to reflect the individual member’s personality.
Each ring featured initials along with a unique symbol:
- Shotaro (TR): Flower & Heart
- Wonbin (WB): Shooting Star
- Sungchan (SC): Money Symbol
- Eunseok (ES): Face Emoji
- Sohee (SH): Sun
- Anton (ANT): Dog Paw Print
While designing the rings, Shotaro thoughtfully considered each member’s preferences.
“Wonbin likes sparkly things.”
“Anton should be a dog.”
“Eunseok surprisingly likes cute things.”
The finished rings even included each member’s birthstone, making them even more meaningful.
“Did Hyung Really Make These?”
Later, Shotaro surprised the members with the completed rings.
As soon as they saw them, the members couldn’t hide their amazement.
“Friendship rings?”
“Did Hyung really make these?”
Shotaro then explained:
“I really made them myself.”
“I went to the workshop and did everything, from cutting the rings to packaging them.”
The heartfelt gift immediately touched the members.
“I’m so moved.”
“This is really touching.”
Their reactions showed just how much Shotaro’s sincerity meant to them.
A Gift That Reflects RIIZE’s Family-Like Bond
During the video, Shotaro reflected on how the members have grown closer since debut.
While it took time for everyone to fully understand each other at first, he explained that RIIZE now feels like family.
“Now it feels like we’re family.”
Because of that bond, the friendship rings became much more than simple accessories—they became a symbol of the relationship the members have built together.
Of course, the atmosphere stayed playful as well. Shotaro jokingly warned:
“Whoever loses theirs first has to pay a 10 million won fine.”
The members burst into laughter, creating another heartwarming RIIZE moment.
